Chaplain Ocie Gay, a native of Louisiana, gave his life to the Lord as a teenager with the evidence of speaking in tongues, and soon after received the God-given gift of interpretation of tongues. He answered the call to preach the gospel and waited for God’s instructions. Twenty-three years of military service and several wars prepared Ocie for his leadership service to God. Additionally, he served in various churches as usher, singer, Sunday school and Bible Study teacher, preacher, council president, and seminar facilitator. He was licensed to preach the Gospel in March 2010 in Columbus, GA. While currently serving at a military chapel, Minister Gay has flourished into an anointed teacher, preacher, and encourager of the Word of God. In April 2011, the Lord led Founders and Overseers Apostle Harry Jackson and Pastor Cheryl Jackson to install him under Christ Foundation Church and Ministries, Inc. as an ordained pastor for his response to the Great Commission of Jesus Christ (Matt. 28:16-20). Elder Gay holds an associate degree from Central Texas College, a bachelor's degree from Trident University, a master's in business administration/quality management from Trident University, and is currently studying at Walden University for a doctor in business admin/project management. God has used twenty-three years of military service, continued education, and life experiences as His mentorship for Pastor Gay to complete the assignments he has been given. He follows God’s lead to guide and teach God’s people with compassion for discipleship. He is husband to and co-laborer with Evangelist Dr. Pamela Gay, a father to six children, and a grandfather to eight grandchildren.
